He also instructed urban village heads throughout Central Jakarta to deploy PPSU personnel to check water lines in microchannels.
“Make sure the drainage system in the microchannel functions optimally thus it doesn’t get clogged which causes puddles when it rains,” he explained.
He added the stationary pumps, mobile pumps and floodgates in Central Jakarta were functioning optimally.
